Youth

The youth ministry of St. Andrew's is committed to an exciting and dynamic program that reaches the students of St. Andrew's and surrounding communities. Using creative programs and events to bring as many youth as possible to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To impart to them the truth of God's love and help them grow in their relationship with Christ and others. The youth progam is developed for all youth and their friends who are currently in 6th - 12th grade.

Our Mission:
To assist the youth of St. Andrew's as well as the youth in our community to experience the Love of Christ and to Love others. We base this on "The Great Commandment" in Matthew 22:37-39 "Love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and to Love your neighbor as yourself."

Our Vision:
To develop student leaders that are knit tightly together by God's Love. Where as they would live out 1st Timothy 4:12 'That they would let no man look down upon them because they are young, but set an example to the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

Youth Leadership Team:
Our leadership team is just that! A TEAM of dedicated young adults that are mostly college age, and the Greatest group of faithful and committed parents this side of the Mississippi River. All working together with our full time youth Pastor. We all believe that we will never reach our full potential in Christ until we help others to reach their potential.

Camps, Retreats, Concerts and Conferences: During the year we plan events that will help to refresh and equip the students and staff. These events are usually away from the church. We have traveled from Orlando, Florida to as far North as Nashville, Tennessee. Our trips are for all active youth and their friends who might not necessarily come to the church for their first experience with Christ and other Christians. These trips are also great ways to build unity and help to develop continuity within our group.

Service Projects: We take opportunities throughout the year to serve the Lord with our hands and feet. Some of our projects consist of painting and cleaning, raking and yard work at our church, serving food at the local rescue mission, helping Taunton's Children's Home as well as other needs and opportunities that may arise.
