St.
Andrew’s Book Group
For those who
enjoy reading and discussing a variety of books, the Book Group
welcomes your
participation. It meets the first Monday of each month at 1:30 pm
in the church library.
Each year the group selects twelve books, either fiction or
nonfiction, and schedules a
discussion leader for each of the books. Books may
be current best sellers, classics or
just old favorites. In December each year the
group has a small end of the year party and
frequently sees the film version of
something it has read during the year. The group is
made up of both men and
women members of St. Andrew’s and others from the community
who join us for
this fellowship.
Mommy
and Me
Mommy and Me
offers a fellowship/playgroup for mothers and their children. The group meets in the
nursery in Byrne Hall on Wednesday afternoons during the non
-summer months. Through the
summer months, the playgroup varies its meeting
times to take trips to the beach, city
parks or visit in members’ homes. The
group fosters strong support and friendships
between the mothers and the
children and is open to both church members and members of the
community.

Young
Adult Group
The Young
Adult Group gathers monthly for fellowship and relaxation. It
alternates monthly between
adult only evenings and family evenings. Adult
evenings are typically meals shared in a
home or a restaurant or attending a
community event as a group. The group welcomes singles
and couples. Family
evenings are frequently held in the parish hall and provide a child
friendly supper
such as pizza, games, videos and popcorn. They are planned to provide the
perfect opportunity for families with children to enjoy a fun filled evening. Please
